What does BATK membership offer you?

The British Association of Tortoise Keepers has a countrywide membership and offers members the following:

	A planned programme of events including the AGM - Open Days - Health Checks
	Advice and support is always available through our Committee and Sanctuary help lines
	Newsletters throughout the year to keep you informed of events and items
	Mail order is available with a range of goods for tortoises and owners
	Husbandry and Hibernation Talks are set at appropriate times throughout the year for those new to tortoise keeping
	Foster Programme available to re-home tortoises. Upon completion of the programme and satisfaction of re-homing requirements.

The BATK Committee are a dedicated team who work tirelessly for the benefit of tortoises. We help those who already have, and those preparing to look after this endangered species to understand the very specific requirements they have in order to live a quality life here in the UK.

BATK is a proactive association and we encourage our members to participate as fully as they can. Your views and comments are always valuable to us, it is the only measure we have of knowing we are looking after members too.
